Mitsubishi Kumo Cloud

Kumo Cloud is Mitsubishi mobile app solution. Features: individual indoor unit control, scheduling, energy monitoring, geofencing, and voice control via Alexa/Google. Requires a Kumo Cloud adapter ($200-400) installed at the indoor unit. Setup requires a Wi-FI connection near each indoor unit. Rated as the most stable and feature-rich.

Fujitsu FGLair

FGLair is Fujitsu WiFi control system. Features: temperature control, scheduling, weekly timer, multi-unit control, and smart home integration. Adapter cost: $150-300. FGLair is simpler than Kumo Cloud but reliable. Setup through the FGLair app requires creating an account and pairing the adapter to your home Wi-FI.

Daikin One+ and LG ThinQ

Daikin One+ integrates with the Daikin One+ smart thermostat for ducted systems and the Daikin Online Controller app for mini-splits. LG ThinQ is built-in on newer models — no additional adapter needed. Samsung SmartThings is also built-in on newer models. Both LG and Samsung offer good smart home integration but fewer advanced HVAC features than Mitsubishi or Fujitsu.
